Those are very expensive compared to a Corolla. And that cost means you’re not saving at the pump.
@N B no you’re saving as ownership goes because of the maintenance but if you don’t plan to keep your car over five years and maybe it’s not a smart idea investment

@Ricco kimbrough that’s what I mean. You have to own an electric car a long time to recoup the extra cost. Like 10-20 years. That’s a Prius – it takes like 10-20 years to make up the gas saved over a Corolla. Gas is pretty cheap honestly. $2-3k per year.
Pay now or pay later. Personally just go with a hybrid Corolla based on how gas prices are rising

Just buying electric car with these gas prices within five years you’ll pay more for gas then your car 😂
You may be better off with a hybrid or plug in hybrid depending on your commute. Also electricity is going up in price too unfortunately.
@MBisFrenchy yeah but many places let you charge for free you like Nissan dealerships..fast charge my car for 30 minutes and I’m at 100% and don’t have to pay 😊
From that list I would consider Mazda 3, CX5, Toyota Avalon. Maybe Subaru for its AWD system. Never Ford.
Or buy a bike and ride public transit, you don’t have to burden yourself financially by owning a car.
Good luck finding these cars with that price. Lol. CR should learn whats going on real world and be more realistic if they want to recommend anything to consumers.
