  1. Great review!!!

  2. Lots of cheap looking plastics in the interior… typical nissan.

  3. An unfortunate marketing choice considering the Russian tanks in the war in Ukraine.

    • @KP-48 heard the Russian army uses Z as a symbol of some sort

    • @Lina Bae this car is targeting 20s+ who wants something sporty, fun to drive and know the Z history, wouldn’t decide to cancel order or hate car suddenly for the fact that symbol that means something in nissan z because it means something else in Russia or whatever.

  4. Nice work

  5. I loved my 77 280Z and this kinda reminds me of it. I love the twin turbo charged 6. Has potential to be a badass sports car.

  6. Thanks Consumer Reports

  7. I don’t know why they make these cars with ICE engines. Like why make sports cars w/ these outdated power trains???

    • It takes years to develop new cars. Automobile development occurs at a glacial pace compared with consumer electronics. When the Z was going through early planning stages and product development, probably nobody was thinking about electrifying it.

    • The budget was only $240 million for this upgrade of the 370. A new car from scratch is over a billion.

  8. When does it arrive at dealerships?

  9. I love everything on it except the front grille from straight on…too square and looks like a Walmart Aston Martin! LOL

  10. Oh does this remind me of the one I got in August of 1970. Of course that one was a little cheaper. I’m to old for this car now, but it does bring back a lot of memories. I was so cool back then!

  11. Gotta love Nissan spending 3 years rolling out a sports car built on a 20 year chassis. Just release the thing already.

  12. This will be the last ice “Z”, next generation will be the all new “EVZ”

  13. Consumer Reports knows nothing about Nissan sports cars

  14. If I was twenty years younger, I’d buy one!
