Let me guess… GM, Jeep, Ford, and Land Rover.
You forgot number 1 and 2, Hyundai and Kia.
@robertf6343they’re actually mid-pack
WRONG! no Ford, add Genesis and Volkswagen.
You missed Chevy
They don’t have enough data to rate Land Rover.
My guess at the start of this video…anything GM, Stellantis and VW. Let’s see 😂
Genuinely surprised this list only had one Stellantis product 😅
It would be interesting if CR would do surveys in overseas markets to see how Chinese evs compete against Western branded vehicles
Not surprised
In my experience the Chevy Equinox is a real POS (excuse my language). I made the mistake of buying one back in 2013- it went through 2 catalytic converters in less than 10 years and the oil consumption on that thing was out of this world. They tend to cost much less than their Japanese counterparts for a reason. The problems encountered by the Equinox have been going on for years. I cannot believe Chevy has not addressed these issues, it’s like they don’t care about the quality of their products. It’s a shame as the interior of that car was pretty decent and comfortable. And mpg, while not great, was okay for a car of its size.
The Chevy traverse should be on the list as well considering it’s the same suv as the Acadia.
Thats not how they do things.
And Enclave
Stellantis always makes the naughty list! 😮
Two row SUV = Honda Passport, Three row SUV = Honda Pilot. I would say Jeep Grand Cherokee can be reliable as long as you stay away from the hybrid, the new not yet released four cylinder turbo, go with the V6 and Laredo or at most Limited and rear wheel drive.
Thank you for this report
Congratulations, General Motors. You’re leading the way with overpriced POS SUV’s, including an EV (you know…the future of automobiles). But don’t worry, I’m sure Ford is right there with you. I saw a report today that they issued a recall of 272,000 cars (2024-2026 Mach-E, 2025-2026 Maverick, and 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning BEV). Apparently, they just rollaway because they can’t/don’t engage the parking pawl. The NHTSA says “The integrated park module may fail to lock into the park position when the driver shifts into park,”. So, they’ll be joining you in the unemployment line unless you dolts get your heads out of your a$$e5. For crying out loud, GM made a frakkin’ lunar rover that origamied into a compartment of the lunar lander…in the 1960’s! Do better and stop being a worldwide embarrassment for American manufacturing!
