The “Skin-So-Soft as bug spray” concept probably goes back 40 or 50 years. My family used it when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s to try and repel mosquitoes when we visited Florida.

I had a lot of bug bites.

Love Avon skin so soft as a bug spray !!! Used it since I was a kix

  3. The science will never convince these Floridians πŸ˜‚ but actually though it’s for noseeums anyway! Mosquito repellent doesn’t usually work against them very well.

  4. My mom used it on her stomach when she was preggers and didn’t get one stretch mark.

I’m a proud women that grew up using Skin so soft. Took a bath in the stuff. It worked!!! Now they have changed the formula and doesn’t work as good. Lavender works great to. No Chemicals here!!!

I guarantee you the formulation has changed. It worked like a charm in the 60s.

Y’all know when they change the bottle, they change ingredients πŸ˜‚ They should have done this research back in 1991 or something. We used it all the time growing up in Dallas, on the family fishing trips in the country.

  13. I know for fact anything in that line from the 90s was 100000% a bug repellent hahaha

  14. I’m 37 and I knew this since I was a kid. I am extremely sensitive to bug spray and literally can’t wear it without allergies that make it difficult to breathe. I’ll be using my Skin so Soft and rose water thank you!

SSS bug spray is awesome, not talked about here but I love it. Not just SSS, but the SSS bug spray

  16. I’ve been using the SSS gel for years and it works great for me, but everyone is different.

  17. Who gets paid to be bit by mosquitos? I hope they get paid well

  18. Gave me a terrible rash. Found a lot of people online had the same issue. I don’t have sensitive skin, so this is the only product I’ve found I’m allergic too.

  20. Skin so soft is better than an insect repellent
