2025 Bmw 2 Series Gran Coupe Review | Consumer Reports 1

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe receives an extensive refresh with a quicker engine, better fuel efficiency, nimble handling, and a full suite of standard active safety equipment. However, this is not to be confused with the rear-wheel-drive BMW 2 Series. The Gran Coupe is built on a front-wheel-drive platform shared with the BMW X1, X2, and Mini Countryman. Despite these upgrades, the Gran Coupe has limited access and uses BMW's iDrive 9 infotainment system, which includes a learning curve.

    Go MDX..

  2. The nose looks normal! Here’s hoping other companies get the memo (looking at you Lexus).

Sacrilege having a front drive BMW. The world has gone mad, mad, mad.

  4. I’m just not a fan of this FWD-based entry luxury car class in general, and this car is yet another one in this class. It’s a terrible value for the money.

I don’t understand why BMW would design and put into production such a bland looking car. It looks like a 90’s Ford Focus. It’s good to see it has BMW’s fit and finish, and no doubt it’s far from slow, but there is no reason to pick this over a far more attractive Audi A3, and MB CLA.
