The R1T fills a need for EV pickup that boasts high power, comfort and with a unique style. The real issue is that its just too expensive for the proposition much like many EVs.

  2. Ford Expedition is the only vehicle to ever have a good 3rd row.

  3. Learning curve for the screen is not a downside as long as it is easy to learn. You don’t expect to see the traditional knobs and physical buttons for EV.

  4. I love my rivian. It’s the best car I’ve ever own. It’s not perfect.

  5. Thanks, can’t wait to see it attempt the rock hill test

I’ve had issues with getting service on vehicles in the past simply because there isn’t a dealer near me. If you want a luxury vehicle that’s not one of the big three german brands you’re driving 3 hours to the dealer for service. I wish more small manufacturers (looking at you Volvo) would adopt the “come to your door” style service network instead of forcing me to shoehorn a trip the dealer into a trip i already had planned or take a whole day off.

This is now my dream car as a soon-to-be Dad.

God the music in the background killed it for me, I couldn’t not hear it while you were talking . Can’t even watch :/

I 100% disagree with the buttons and knobs being intuitive…. it’s 2023 would you rather several buttons with weird hieroglyphs or an interactive screen that shows you what’s going?

Take anyone and put them in a car with out a screen, have them look at the leavers next to the steering wheel and ask them what’s going on.

  11. Needs captain chairs for second row to make access easier to third row

Could you maybe, possibly, hopefully cut the background music?

They have only 20 service centers nationwide-thses Rivians are a total joke-overpriced-just like Lucid.

  14. Yeah that would annoy me too over time getting into the car and having to rely on everything through the touch-screen.

  15. Great review. Thanks and keep this format.

  16. I’ve seen couple around my area and its an eye catching handsome truck. I’d buy one if I was rich and wanted an electric vehicle. If there is a lack of EV stations, I’d go for a Land Rover 110.

  17. What are the odds someone snaps one of the door handles off?

Excellent review, right up the the anything that’s not a Toyota Camry is too difficult for Grandpa to understand. I am 72 and own a Tesla Model 3. Find usability to be off the scale excellent. Of course, I am wiling to you-know, actually learn what’s available and how to use it.
