If you’re going from origin. It’s actually Jeep Compass > Alfa Romeo Tonale (modified Jeep Compass platform) = Dodge Hornet (Rebadged Tonale). The Hornet is essentially based on the Compass.

Rather than bring back a name from the past a new name for a new vehicle would have been better. Anything but Hornet.

The Alfa Romeo PHEV powertrain is the same one that is being used in the Jeep Compass 4xe out in the UK for a while now. It just hasn’t come to our shores yet. It’s not an Alfa Romeo specific powertrain. It’s a global one used in a bunch of Stellantis cars that’s proven to be pretty good.
Well if you are best friends with your mechanic, chances are you are sucker for unreliable cars already, so nothing new 😂😂
That might have been true in the1970s&80s. Those days are long gone for Alfa today they are just as reliable as anyone else.

It looks promising as far as performance, however It reeks poor reliability. I still wish Chrysler the best and hope it doesn’t go the wayside pasture like the Dart did.
