My wife and I didn’t have the best luck with our Toyota. In fact we kept all of our cars, including some used, longer than our new Matrix. It seemed to need a repair at every routine service visit until we felt we had to replace it.
I can drive more safely in a 90’s vehicle than the average driver in a new car, even with every safety feature you can think of. Smart, defensive driving beats all those new safety features.
Those safety features don’t stop people from nearly hitting me, much less slow them down.
