Pickup trucks and full-size SUVs would be good candidates for rear wheel steering. It would seriously help their turning circles.
I think this video would be more demonstrative if you showed typical parking lot maneuvers. Set up a parking lot with an empty spot between two other vehicles. Then show how much easier it is to park the car with the rear wheel steering than one without it.
Unless you can pay to fix 4 wheel steer, don’t get it. If you can, it’s nice. Just nice. For that one time you were able to turn tighter in a parking lot full of your other highline benz’s.

Excellent information and exclamation! However in true Consumer Reports fashion, you have neglected or chosen to omit certain facts to make your point. What were the vehicles turning radius’s without engaging the rear wheels of the Mercedes-Benz? THAT information would have made this information much more practical and believable.
