2025 Mini Countryman Ev Review | Consumer Reports 1

The all-electric 2025 Mini Countryman SE is the biggest Mini yet—and arguably better as an EV. With sharp looks, dual motors, and over 200-mile range, it’s charming in many ways. But despite the upgrade, it still carries over some of the quirks and flaws of the gas model.

just my opinion, but these headlights are not very well suited to this body style.

  2. BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Mini are the worst brands for electrical issues. Run away. Tariff, poor reliability, parts, and PIA DIY maintenance will drain your wallet.

    • Disagree. No issues while under warranty. Mini specifically since 2015 has been solid quality. Expensive to maintain sure, but otherwise fit.

  3. Current lease deal is really tempting.

    First😅

  5. Nearly over 48k after taxes and range is only 215? And charging is slower too.
For EV the most important spec is range and speedy charging and this fails in both.😢

  6. Have buttons just become too damn expensive for carmakers? I get it, we’re a smartphone society, but for Pete’s sake, we’re just trying to drive, turn the A/C on, and crank up the tunes, no need to dig into menus or have slow screen responses (and apparently animations). Even Hyundai and Honda saw the error of their ways and brought the buttons back. ARRGGGGHHHHHH.

  7. A missed opportunity. Shifter or paddles as a compromise please. The previous generationF60 was a better looking and driving Countryman. I like the Aceman, but it’s made in China so we won’t have it in the US.

  8. Just buy a Tesla

  9. Too big, too heavy, too expensive, too limited in its range and charging speed, and if other Minis are any indication, too unreliable and with too many cheap plastic parts waiting to fail. The round display is completely asinine. Who would want that? Not worth more than $30,000 new, even if it is made in Germany.

It’s British. Being British it couldn’t have a frunk. What it’s missing is a “froot”.
