The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox gets a fresh redesign, with a roomier interior and updated styling. Built on a new platform, it's slightly longer and wider than before. Under the hood, it's still powered by a 175-horsepower, 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine. As Chevy's second-best-selling vehicle, the Equinox remains a popular choice—but with so many compact SUVs on the market, how does it stack up against the competition?

I rented this vehicle that’s a piece of crap
why?
This review feels like — is it bad? No. Is it good either? Not by a mile. It is what it is.
The 2025 Equinox: “It’s pretty good, I guess…” 🤣 I also noticed you picked the model with the auto gearbox.. Full disappointment can be had with the CVT.
Needs the PHEV that’s offered in China, way underpowered for this segment
I wish you could still get the 252 hp 2.0 L turbo and nine speed like my 2019 Premier. 175hp is just barely enough with only the driver. If it’s loaded down with 4 passengers and cargo it’s not enough to safely get up a ramp to the interstate. The tech was good too even back then. My son is still driving that thing.
